This Bordeaux is issued from the Saint Emilion vineyards. Saint Emilion is one of the 7 areas that the Bordeaux counts and it is mostly the most fa ous one.
The particcularity of crus of Boordeaux is that their classification was established in 1855, so in the 19th century. Since that time, nothing changed about the PREMIER, SECOND & TROISIEME CRUS ( 1st, 2nd & 3rd CRUS ). However, in 1955, a new classification was established to create a GRAND CRU classification, allowing some winemakers whose vi eyards weren't existing a century before to be recognized for thevquality of their productions.
